Full Spectrum Hemp Oil
Our full spectrum product uses the complete plant profile rather than isolating one component. A complete profile means that we leave in all the good stuff: the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, vitamins and minerals, essential fats, and proteins that naturally occur in the plant. Clinical research has shown that the synergy between the plant’s phytocannabinoids and terpenes, rather than an isolate, dramatically increases the medically beneficial effects. This strengthened response is also known as the “entourage effect”.

So what are phytocannabinoids and terpenes?
Terpenes are found in the essential oils of a plant. They are the source of much of a plant’s aroma and flavor. Phytocannabinoids line up with the human body’s cannabinoid system to unlock our cannabinoid receptors. These phytocannabinoid compounds play the same role as endocannabinoids, which naturally exist in our bodies. Here are some of the key terpenes that have been shown to have specific and unique benefits:
Myrcene, Pinene, Limonene , Caryophyllene, Linalool, Terpinolene, Camphene, Terpineol, Phellandrene, Carene, Humulene, Pulegone, Sabinene, Geraniol
Overall, there are over 100 phytocannabinoids within the cannabis plant. Some of the phytocannabinoids that have shown medical benefits most clearly are:
-Cannabidiol (CBD): anticonvulsant, antioxidant, reduces anxiety, treats psychotic disorders and auto-immune disorders, relieves pain, reduces inflammation, and relieves spasms.
-Cannabinol (CBN): sedative, antibiotic, anticonvulsant, and anti-inflammatory.
-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC): antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, induces a euphoric high, relieves pain.
-Cannabigerol (CBG): antibiotic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and relieves pain, several other cannabinoids are made from this phytocannabinoid.
-Cannabichromene (CBC): antibiotic, analgesic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and relieves pain.
-Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV): induces a euphoric high and relieves anxiety, regulates other phytocannabinoids.
